InterVU is introducing a Rich Media Site Integration Program, in which Web publishers install a code on their sites that ensures multimedia formats work properly. Sites currently testing the product are Buena Vista Internet Group, Microsoft Corp.'s Interactive Media Group, Live World Productions, Macromedia,, Mercury Seven and CBS SportsLine.

InterVU is also introducing eyeQ Multimedia Manager, a free CD-ROM with all the major plug-ins. It will include Real Networks' Real Media Suite, QuickTime, Shockwave, Flash and others. And finally, InterVU is releasing a free "Rich Media Handbook," a 35-page guide on how to use rich media and compare formats. "It's meant to be a reference guide," said Allie Shaw, InterVU director of marketing. "It's not InterVU-centric," she added, citing case studies focusing on a wide range of technology companies.
