IPG to acquire Casanova Pendrill

Interpublic Group of Cos. has agreed to buy Casanova Pendrill Publicidad, Irvine, Calif., and closely ally it with Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Casanova Pendrill, with billings of more than $50 million, was founded in 1984 by President Paul Casanova and Creative Director Viviana Pendrill. The two executives will remain at the helm of the agency under IPG. The agency's current clients include Adolph Coors Co., DirecTV, Home Depot and Qwest Communications.
