Sport & Social Clubs of the U.S. said Brown-Forman Beverages will market new Jack Daniel's cocktail products over the next two years at 20 local sports clubs throughout the U.S. The $600,000 agreement includes on-site product marketing and sampling at social and athletic events. Anheuser-Busch earlier inked a $950,000 two-year agreement to promote Budweiser beers at S&SC events nationwide. New Balance Athletic Shoe Co. paid $90,000 for a one-year sponsorship agreement at S&SC-sponsored events.

Stroh Brewery Co. recently linked with Dr Pepper/Seven Up for a summer promotion giving free 7 UP with the purchase of Old Style and Special Export beer. Any consumer buying one 30-pack of cans or two 12-packs of Old Style or Special Export can receive two 2-liter bottles of any 7 UP soft drink, using instant coupons available at the point of purchase. The promotion is handled in-house.

Warner Bros. Domestic Pay Television inked Columbia House to a sponsorship of its live music series "Hard Rock Live Presented by American Express," which begins its second season this week on VH1. Warner Bros., which distributes and markets the program, will begin mentioning Columbia House in a $2 million-plus ad campaign for the series being launched this week. Creative, mostly outdoor and print, is handled in-house.
