(July 11, 2001) -- Ford Motor Co.'s Jaguar Cars North America, Mahwah, N.J., is the latest automaker to sponsor a music concert tour.

Jaguar gets name billing in Janet Jackson's "All for You World Tour" of 47 U.S. concerts and 25 shows at 10 European stops. Jaguar will display vehicles at the venues and get mentions in all ads promoting the shows and on concert tickets.

Each of the singer's shows will start with a video featuring Ms. Jackson with a black Jaguar X-Type, the automaker's entry-level sedan aimed at younger buyers. The video was produced by Spike Lee's 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks Inc., which was hired last year by Jaguar to produce spots to reach out to African Americans. -- Jean Halliday
