Jordan works for WorldCom

LDDS/WorldCom, Jackson, Miss., the fourth-largest provider of long distance, on Wednesday filmed TV spots featuring new spokesman Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls. Earle Palmer Brown, Baltimore, handles the estimated $10 million campaign, scheduled to launch later this spring on national TV and cable. WorldCom's stock has been on the rise since it signed on superspokesman Jordan in a 10-year deal. As part of the deal, Mr. Jordan, an investor in WorldCom, will be paid on a scale directly related to the company's stock performance.
