JWT boosts management on $350m global Kraft account

LONDON -- J Walter Thompson has beefed up its global management team on the $350m Kraft Foods business, replacing the Chicago-based Worldwide Account Director Jack Tukey with two Worldwide Directors-in-Charge, responsible for Europe and Asia and for the Americas respectively. The move is made to broaden JWT's involvement with Kraft to ensure the agency can realize the aggressive growth targets it has set for itself, a JWT statement says.

Jim Twiss, former European director-in-charge on the Kraft business, will take on the Europe and Asia part of the Worldwide role, while Ray Marione, former management director on Kraft at JWT Chicago, will look after the Americas side of the account. Both will report to Ron Burns, JWT's global business director for Kraft Foods. Tukey will continue to work on Kraft as worldwide group executive and a member of the agency's Kraft Foods Management Group.
