Kimberly-Clark Corp. consolidated its agency roster last week, deciding to keep one of the three agencies it had added with its Scott Paper Co. acquisition.

Scott agency J. Walter Thompson Co., New York, joins sister WPP Group agency Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, as global shops for K-C.

McCann-Erickson Worldwide and Bozell Worldwide, both New York, lose their Scott assignments, worth $5 million to $10 million each in U.S. billings plus more overseas.

K-C spent about $175 million on U.S. advertising in 1995; international billings, though substantial, aren't available.

JWT retains all Scott tissues assignments in North America, Latin America and Asia, and adds bathroom tissues in Europe and Scott Clean paper towels in the U.S.

K-C is merging its Kleenex brand with Scott's Cottonelle in toilet tissues and Scott's Viva and Job Squad brands in paper towels. Advertising for those brands goes to O&M, which already handled Huggies disposable diapers and wipes and Kotex feminine-care products worldwide. O&M also handles Kleenex in some parts of the world.

FCB retains responsibility for Kleenex facial tissues in North America and gains several assignments overseas.
