Lands' End profits dive

Lands' End, Dodgeville, Wis., in the midst of a major restructuring, reported net income for the year ended Jan. 29 dropped 51% to $41.2 million. Sales were up 8.5% to $1.4 billion. Internet sales for the cataloger, however, more than tripled to $61 million. Lands' End is one of the first apparel retailers to break out Internet sales figures. Its Web site includes a number of personalized shopping features.
