Leading Nat'l Advertisers: Addendum to AA report

The following amplifications and corrections concern data reported in the 44th annual Leading National Advertisers report, Sept. 27, 1999:

* In the General Motors Corp. listing (P. S-33), executives listed from N.W. Ayer & Partners, Detroit, on GM's North American Operations account should have been Luana Floccuzio, managing director; and Mason Franklin, account director.

* In the PepsiCo listing (P. S-39), the brand reported as Lipton Original is Lipton Iced Tea. Brand executive is Dan Trott, VP-general manager, Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership.

* In the L'Oreal listing (P. S-36), Publicis' Matina Karadiakos is senior principal-media director in four L'Oreal divisions: L'Oreal Professionnel, Paris (Cosmair division); Plenitude Skincare in the L'Oreal Retail Division; Lancome, Paris (Cosmair); and European Designer Fragrances (Cosmair). Also, it was omitted that Publicis handled media for the European Designer Fragrances division.

In the same profile, Carlos Timiraos, assistant VP-USA marketing, should be in the list of marketing executives at Ralph Lauren Fragrances (Cosmair).

* The Time Warner listing (P. S-44) should have included the following: Warner Home Video/4000 Warner Blvd./Burbank, Calif. 91522/Phone: (818) 954-6000. Tom Lesinski, senior VP-worldwide marketing and development; Mark Horak, VP-worldwide marketing; Dan Ca-pone, VP-family entertainment; John Richards, VP-worldwide creative services; Mimi Slavin, VP-promotions; Vito Mandato, director-advertising and research.
