NEW YORK-FCB/Leber Katz Partners and Nabisco Biscuit Co. walked away with the top award at the 1995 Effies for work on the Snackwell's line.

The Grand Effie last week was given to Leber Katz for its series of "Cookie Man" TV spots that spoofed the shortage of Snackwell's cookies and crackers. The agency won a total of six awards; Leo Burnett Co. won the most gold awards, at four, and Ogilvy & Mather won the most awards overall, 11.

"The whole group was thrilled to win," said Colleen Gowl, exec VP-group management director at Leber Katz, adding that new executions are being planned.

Three companies were also inducted into the Marketing Hall of Fame: Apple Computer, Walt Disney Co. and MTV: Music Television.
