Levi Strauss breaks spring campaign

Levi Strauss & Co. on March 14 broke its spring TV campaign with a spot showing a woman walking along railroad tracks who takes off her jeans and has an oncoming train slice them into cutoffs. The commercial, running on Fox and cable channels, is an extension of a campaign that began last fall tagged "opt. for the original." TBWA/Chiat/Day, San Francisco and Playa del Rey, Calif., is the agency.
