More life for Babe

Universal Consumer Products Groups, in its effort to turn Universal Studio's 1995 surprise hit "Babe" into an enduring franchise and increase its pay-per-view business, has inked a deal with McDonald's Corp. to tie into the PPV premiere of the film on Friday. Beginning June 14, McDonald's starts a four-week promo in which "Babe" plush toys will be given away with a "Babe" kids meal. McDonald's is said to be supporting the promotion with an ad campaign from Leo Burnett USA, Chicago.
