Marketing company clicks on keyboards

The company will sell the 12 function keys, each of which will have a sponsor's logo and a direct link to the sponsor's site. ChannelCommerce said it will launch with a giveaway of 250,000 keyboards at November's Comdex/Fall, effectively giving away a keyboard to every attendee at the premier computer show.

"These keyboards are the newest form of interactive Web advertising," said John Liu, president and founder of ChannelCommerce.Com, "They will reach a highly targeted consumer base at Comdex, which will translate to an increase in return hits and facilitate e-commerce for each key's sponsor."
