Mass market Internet magazine debuts

PARIS--Prisma Presse will soon launch Webmagazine, a monthly magazine about the Internet and multimedia business, which is aimed at the broad public and not just industry aficionados. The launch date has not been revealed, but a target circulation of 200,000 has been set. Rivals such as Micro Hebdo, published by Havas subsidiary Tests group, and ComputerPlus, which the Amaury group has had to close after less than one year, aim at a more initiated readership. Prisma Presse's German holding company Gruner + Jahr already publishes Online Today.
