Media Metrix expands local market service

Internet measurement company Media Metrix is expanding its Local Market Measurement Service to 38 U.S. geographical locations from 14. Markets covered in the local service include Atlanta; Baltimore; Buffalo, N.Y.; Detroit; Milwaukee; Phoenix; Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City; and Tampa, Fla. Media Metrix draws from a sample of 40,000 people online at work and at home.
