Jacqueline Leo, editorial director and publisher of Consumer Reports,
since August 1997, will join Meredith Publishing Group as editor in chief of interactive services on Oct. 1. In this newly created position, based in New York, Ms. Leo will oversee all editorial aspects of Meredith's new print-and-Web franchise Shop Online 123, and serve as editor in chief of Family Money
and its Web site.
