McDonald's Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., Thursday night breaks teaser spots on network and syndicated television leading into the May 9 start of a $75 million campaign for its new adult menu, including the Arch Deluxe burger. Separately, McDonald's said it has opened units in two new countries, Liechtenstein and the Pacific Island of Fiji. The company says it now does business in 93 countries. Jim Cantalupo, president-CEO of McDonald's International, said, "Worldwide we plan to add 2,500 to 3,200 restaurants annually in 1996 and 1997, with about two-thirds to be added outside the U.S." The company currently has more than 18,700 outlets worldwide.
