Microsoft ads target 'intelligencia'

Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., this month begins a new flight in its freedom-to-innovate campaign, hoping to influence what VP Jon Reingold terms "the intelligencia" as the company prepares for the Justice Department's antitrust trial in September. Bozell Sawyer Miller Group, New York, is preparing the new newspaper ads. A TV commercial that's thus far run only in Washington will air in about 17 other markets.
