Microsoft and partners in test phase

Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., said 20 members of its Insight Program (a group working on developing interactive TV platforms) will enter a test phase to prepare networks for interactive marketing, TV and other trials. Participants include Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, GTE Corp., Korea Telecom, Southwestern Bell Video Services, Tele-TV Systems and U S West Communications. Discovery Communications, CUC International and the Lightspan Partnership will provide interactive content for the trial.
