MindShare creates 2 local broadcast groups

MindShare, the media arm of the WPP Group, has taken another step toward building its management structure by creating two local broadcast groups: MindShare Regional and MindShare Central. Kathy McCauley, formerly director of client service-regional and director of central, will become the director of MindShare Central. Cathy Tocco, previously director of operations-regional, will be the director of MindShare Regional. MindShare Central will service a group of accounts including the newly won Sears, Roebuck & Co. media agency of record business. Central will be composed of Dara Keyes, manager, client service-New York; Warren Edelman, manager-New York central; Anne Mather, manager-Chicago central; and Steve Murtos, manager, client service-Chicago. MindShare Regional will service a group of clients including Ford dealers and Domino's Pizza. The unit includes Annette Malave, manager, client service-USA; Scott Brown, director USA/local promotion; and regional broadcast managers Richard Cotter in New York, Pam Meredith in Atlanta, Sandy Portzel in Detroit, Penny Kowitt in Chicago, Danielle Driggers in Denver, Laurel Pabian in Los Angeles and Karen Brown in San Francisco. MindShare Regional also will open a Miami office, which it is currently staffing, and is recruiting a manager to run its Dallas office. Both regional and central departments will report to Jean Pool, president-operations.
