Minnesota taps CME for campaign to deter kids from smoking

The Minnesota Department of Health selected Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis, to shepherd its $7.5 million campaign to deter kids from smoking. The money comes from the state's $6.6 billion suit against tobacco companies, and CME is the first agency to run the account, said Joe Loveland, marketing director for the Minnesota Tobacco Endowment, a unit of the Department of Health. CME bested the Minneapolis agencies of Lynch Jarvis Jones, Martin Williams, Carmichael Lynch, and Kruskopf Olson.
