Peter Nicholson, formerly group creative director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, has been named to the new post of executive principal and chief creative officer at Publicis in Mid-America/Chicago.

Former Fallon/Minneapolis CD Bob Moore has joined Publicis in the West/Seattle as co-president and executive creative director.

Markham Cronin, formerly at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, has joined Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, as partner/group CD.

Former Cliff Freeman copywriter/ACD William Gelner has joined BBH/New York as a creative director.

At Deutsch/L.A.: Karen Costello, Vinny Picardi and Eric Springer have been promoted from VP-associate creative director to senior VP-associate creative director. Randy Morton, VP-director of broadcast production, has also been promoted to senior-VP.

Anastacia Feldman, formerly head of production, has been named executive producer at the San Francisco office of effects studio Radium.

At New York's DiMassimo Brand Advertising: Tammy Skuraton, formerly of Leslie Kay, has been named creative manager; Troy Torrison, formerly of Kirshenbaum Bond, has signed on as senior copywriter; and Roger Stephens has been hired as assistant art director.

Mike Joyce has been promoted to creative director at New York graphic design studio Platinum Design.
