SAO PAULO--Nickelodeon Latin America has chosensister channel MTV Brasil to be its sales representativein Brazil. The multi-year deal was announced by AntonioCanto, advertising sales director at Nickelodeon LatinAmerica, and Guilherme Valentini, director, advertisingsales at MTV Brasil. The agreement gives MTV power tonegotiate sales for Nickelodeon with Brazilian ad agenciesand their clients. "By capitalizing on MTV Brasil's extensive experience and expertise in the local advertisingmarket, we will now be able to provide marketers targetingthe kids audience with more personalized and direct service,"says Mr. Canto.
