NCN survey: Online newspaper readers more likely to shop on Web

A survey by online newspaper group New Century Network/NewsWorks found that online newspaper readers are twice as likely to make purchases online as the average Internet user. The survey, conducted for New Century Network/NewsWorks by independent researcher Laredo Group, found that 57% of NCN readers had made a purchase online in the past 12 months, while only 27% of average Internet users had made online purchases in the past 12 months.
