Nestle serves iced coffee

Nestle Beverage Co. is introducing single serve Nescafe ready-to-drink iced coffee in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Portland, Ore., San Diego and Sacramento, Calif., following market tests in Burlington, Vt. The product, in six flavors, is priced at 99 cents. "The ready-to-drink coffee market is currently comprised of mostly small regional brands and, given today's consumer trends, we expect the market to grow dramatically," said Tony Adamich, VP-communications and marketing for Nestle Beverage Co. Marketing support includes spot TV and radio as well as sampling. McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Los Angeles, is the agency.
