NetGravity's AdServer bows on Pathfinder

Time Inc.'s Pathfinder Web site is among the first to install a sophisticated ad tracking system called AdServer, from startup company NetGravity, San Mateo, Calif. AdServer's database management software provides automated ad scheduling and placement, and can generate site traffic reports. Sites pay $100,000 for an annual license or $20,000 plus a percentage of ad revenues.
