Netpulse Communications launches metrics initiative

Netpulse Communications, an Internet media network that distributes through health clubs and fitness chains, is backing marketing efforts with regular surveys keyed to active-lifestyle users of the Internet. Its first report notes fitness center users in North America chose to use the Internet 52% more often than TV while exercising on Netpulse-equipped cardiovascular equipment during the first quarter of 2000. The top two Netpulse channels, measured by number of clicks for the month of March, are Email and Search.
