to begin first consumer campaign

Chicago-based, a portal site linking content from a national network of 45 alternative city and content Web sites, launches its first consumer ad campaign this week. The media is valued at about $1 million. Chicago-based McConnaughy Stein Schmidt Brown developed the campaign, which will run online on Salon, and the Rolling Stone Network; in print in an upcoming issue of Granta, a quarterly literary magazine; and on posters in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
