Bill Russo, new VP-sponsor programs at e-Rewards, Dallas, knows the importance of standing apart in the crowded e-mail marketing space. He hopes to expand the roster of companies partnering with e-Rewards, which enables members who respond to e-marketing messages and surveys to redeem points at sponsor companies. Building the sponsor base will accelerate member growth and broaden the appeal of the rewards, he says, but the two biggest challenges are "clutter and the limit to what people can pay attention to ... Our challenge is to stand out and stand above all of that."
