Corona Extra are close to announcing a new tagline for the country's No. 1 import. Don Mann, Modelo products director at Gambrinus Co., which distributes Corona Extra and Corona Light in the eastern U.S., said the line will be "Miles away from ordinary."

Argentina Tourist Authority is searching for an agency for its estimated $15 million account. Peter Martin Associates, Stamford, Conn., is the consultant.

Investor Carl Icahn said in a regulatory filing May 12 that he intends to offer Nabisco Group Holdings shareholders $22 per share for the 90.4% of the company's stock he does not own. Mr. Icahn in April bid $16 per share to take over the company, which owns a 90% stake in food marketer Nabisco Holdings Corp.

Allied-Domecq Spirits USA has chosen Frierson, Mee & Kraft, New York, to handle its $5 million Midori ad account. The brand had been at Lois/EJL from January 1999 until the fall, when parent Lois/USA filed for bankruptcy protection.
