Think New Ideas is buying interactive agency InterWeb for $11 million, mostly in stock. Think plans to merge the Atlanta-based office with its own outpost there. InterWeb's clients include BellSouth and Turner Entertainment.

Search engine company June 8 named search technology provider Inktomi to power its search results. GoTo, which was launched earlier this year, ranks its search results based on a competitive bidding process. Inktomi, San Mateo, Calif., is planning an initial public offering the week of June 8.

Interactive agency New Paradigm Corp., New York, took a majority stake interest in Schoen Kapelus & Cipriano, Harrison, N.Y. New Paradigm's clients include New York City Bar Association.

ChinaOnline was launched June 8. ChinaOnline, based in Chicago, will specialize in business news and takes its information from more than 40 news sources in the People's Republic of China.

Interactive marketing company BlairLake New Media, Kansas City, Mo., acquired Oculus Interactive, an online interactive agency in New York. Oculus' clients include Avon Books, Hearst Books and Johns Hopkins University.
