DoubleClick Inc. has launched a redesigned Web site and a new ad campaign for the DoubleClick Network, created by interactive agency Digital Pulp, New York. The DoubleClick ``Far Reaching'' campaign debuts online and in targeted trade publications in June. The redesigned site includes simplified navigation and an attempt to more effectively communicate DoubleClick services for ad agencies and publishers.

The Newspaper Association of America recognized online newspapers with its Digital Edge Awards on June 19. The winners for best online newspapers site were Kansas City Star for large market; The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle for medium market and a group of Florida sites called TCPalm for small market. The Sun-Sentinel of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., won for best interactive feature and the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong won an outstanding achievement award for best news presentation.

U.S. News & World Report launched a new financial section of U.S. News Online, the Money channel in the News You Can Use section of the site. Some of the new features include a mutual funds database and a retirement calculator.

Web community Tripod locked down an exclusive e-commerce agreement with will be the exclusive bookseller on, and will be able to offer its Affiliate Network to Tripod's members. also has extended its previous agreement with Tripod's parent Lycos to be the top bookseller on the search engine site.

Ad management company AdKnowledge has appointed Theodore Nissim VP-engineering, Palo Alto, Calif., from senior engineering manager, enterprise server system software, at Sun Microsystems.
