Infoseek Corp. inked a $26 million, two-year deal with Microsoft Corp.'s WebTV Networks to be the exclusive provider of search and directory services on WebTV. Infoseek will pay WebTV a minimum of $26 million and will handle management of advertising sales for online search and content advertising, including banner inventory.

Concrete Media, New York, will redesign The Village Voice's Web site. The site is expected to be ready in October. Concrete Media also announced a new Custom Publishing division that will focus on creating business sites designed with content and e-commerce capabilities.
