Outrider, the digital media and marketing arm of U.K.-based Tempus Group, is investing in online media services companies in the U.S. and Hong Kong. Outrider acquired a 75% stake in Webster Group International, St. Louis. Webster provides online media and Web site promotion services. Also, Outrider entered into a 49% joint venture with Web Connection, a subsidiary of, to form Hong Kong-based Web Connection Media. WCM will provide online media buying and planning services for Web Connection, Tempus-owned media specialist CIA Asia Pacific and third parties.

Creative Planet (, Los Angeles, an online resource for creative professionals, acquired Source Maythenyi, an information service provider for the TV advertising and music video communities. The integration of Source will enable Creative Planet to offer a comprehensive information service across the film, TV, commercial and music video categories, said Creative Planet CEO Allen DeBevoise.

Eidos Interactive, San Francisco, to Duncan/Channon, San Rafael, Calif., for a print, TV, outdoor and online project backing a new videogame themed around the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
