Nickelodeon captures early kids upfront deals

Nickelodeon has already struck gold in the kids upfront market, although most presentations to advertisers for the kids upfront TV marketplace don't take place until this week. Nickelodeon made two-year deals with most advertisers last year, so this year the cable network has already done at least four major deals through third quarter 1998, including one with Hasbro through Grey Advertising, insiders said.
