Nielsen, NetRatings launch Internet media service

Nielsen Media Research and NetRatings this month unveil the new Nielsen/NetRatings Internet Media Strategies service, providing data and analysis on streaming media, Internet bandwidth/connection speeds and categorical data by media type, to traditional and Internet-based media companies. In addition, the service offers selected local market data, allowing better reach and targeting demographics. The service is based on data collection from an audience sample of more than 36,000 home users; Nielsen/NetRatings Internet Media Strategies focuses on key trends affecting media businesses and provides information to help develop innovative Internet strategies.
