Advertising Age stayed in contact with the 25 Women to Watch profiled in 1998 (AA, Feb. 2) as they continued their successful careers. Some of last year's honorees continued in their sames posts, some were promoted and others moved on.

Those who moved within the ranks of their companies include Karen Francis from Rocky Mountain regional manager of General Motor Corp.'s Chevrolet division to division marketing general manager at Oldsmobile. Hillary Graves expanded her role from VP-online marketing to VP-marketing at iVillage. Also, Betsy Holden was promoted to exec VP of Kraft Foods, overseeing the operations, research and development and marketing services divisions; she had been president of Kraft Foods cheese division. Amy Schoening moved to VP-marketing at The Gap's Banana Republic from VP-brand strategy. Linda Srere was promoted to vice chairman and chief client officer of Y&R Advertising, effective at yearend; she had been president-CEO.
