Joins Other Pop Performers for Fall Print Campaign

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Apparel maker Candie's has become the first marketer to sign Kelly Osbourne, who appears with her family in MTV's hit reality series The Osbournes, to an advertising engagement.

Ms. Osbourne, 17, will join R&B singer Ashanti and pop musician Vanessa Carlton in a print fall ad campaign scheduled for October issues of YM, CosmoGirl, Seventeen and Teen People.

are targeted to young women and will be shot by fashion photographer Tony Duran. Each will highlight Candie's fall footwear, apparel and accessories, as well as the company's own retail stores.

Last year, the campaign featured music trio Destiny's Child.

Ms. Osbourne is the daughter of heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, whose family appears as themselves on the hit show for MTV. In addition to her TV gig, Ms. Osbournes can be heard on Top 40 radio performing her cover of Madonna's song "Papa Don't Preach."
