Oxygen Media, Starbucks link

Women-oriented Oxygen Media, New York, and Starbucks Cof~fee Co., Seattle, are partnering to sell Starbucks products and services on Oxygen's Web sites, including Oprah Online and Moms Online. Also, Oxygen and Star~bucks will develop co-branded content and features. Starbucks Chairman-CEO How~ard Schultz said the partnership is an early step in Starbucks' online strategy.

Oxygen Media also announced that it has received $100 million in private financing from investor Paul Allen's investment organization, Vulcan Ventures. Oxygen also is entering a distribution agreement with Mr. Allen's Charter Communications, under which Charter's cable systems will carry the Oxygen network to Charter subscribers.
