Pampers discontinues ads

The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus said that Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, has discontinued TV spots for its Pampers disposable diapers after rival Kimberly-Clark Corp., Dallas, challenged the claim that "More [pediatricians] ... recommend Pampers."
