Michael Sullivan, 45, to VP-single copy sales for TV Guide, from executive director of single copy sales. He also heads up Murdoch Magazines Distribution, succeeding Charles Davis, who left to become VP-consumer marketing at Disney Online.

Linda L. Ahlers was named president of the department store division of Dayton Hudson Corp., Minneapolis, succeeding Stephen E. Watson, who resigned. Ms. Ahlers formerly was exec VP-merchandising for the division, which includes Dayton's, Hudson's and Marshall Field's stores.
