Frank Comerford to exec VP-sales for the NBC TV stations, the top ad sales position for the network's 13 owned-and-operated stations. Mr. Comerford had been VP-director of sales at WNBC, the network's flagship station in New York. He succeeds Ray Heacox, now general manager of KNBC, NBC's Los Angeles TV station.

Ted Graham to worldwide director of knowledge management services, a new post at Hill & Knowlton, New York, from director of knowledge management for the Canadian region of the WPP Group-owned public relations agency. He will be based in Toronto.

Doug Powell, 39, to senior VP-media director, Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, from VP-media account director. He succeeds Ted Block, who left.

Ronald A. Unkefer, founder and former chairman-CEO of The Good Guys!, San Francisco, will return July 1 with that title at the West Coast electronics retailer. He will succeed President-CEO Robert A. Gunst, who's resigning. Mr. Unkefer also is buying about $4.7 million in The Good Guys! stock, about a 10% stake. Mr. Unkefer had retired from his previous stint as CEO in 1993 and as chairman in '96. He currently is chairman of First Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in Internet and technology companies.
