New York-based Web developer Avalanche Systems announced two new hires. Michele Madansky has joined the company as director of strategic services. Ms. Madansky was formerly VP-interactive business development at BBDO Worldwide, New York. Troy Tyler, a former management and strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, was appointed director of operations.
AOL Networks has promoted Jan Brandt to president of marketing. Ms. Brandt was formerly senior VP-marketing.
