Anthony Smith, senior art director at D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Toronto, died March 31 in San Francisco of pneumonia; he was 54. During his twenty-year career in advertising, Mr. Smith worked at such agencies as Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and McCann-Erickson Worldwide, both New York.
