Pepsi clarifies CLM/BBDO role

Pepsi- Cola Co., New York, said a French unit of BBDO Worldwide, CLM/BBDO, Paris, has been given responsibility for "management of international copy development" for brand Pepsi advertising. The statement clarified a Sept. 23 announcement by CLM/BBDO that it had been assigned "strategic leadership" and "creative development" for international brand Pepsi ads. A Pepsi-Cola spokesman said BBDO Worldwide, New York, will continue to create ads that may be used internationally, along with a half-dozen other BBDO offices around the world and that global brand strategy will continue to be driven from BBDO in New York.
