Polaroid Corp. has narrowed the list of agencies vying for its first-quarter creative assignment to Leonard Monahan, Providence, R.I., and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, eliminating Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York. The project, which includes media, is intended to give Polaroid fresh creative early next year and will give the winner a "leg up," according to a spokeswoman, in Polaroid's final $30 million account decision, which will be made early next year.
