General Mills' Pop Secret is teaming with Nascar for an on-pack promotion running through Oct. 24. On that date, the snack brand hits the track as title sponsor of its first-ever race, the Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn 400 at North Carolina Speedway. Racing fans are voting now on which of four Ford Taurus cars, each featuring a Pop Secret logo, driver Johnny Bensen will man in the race. The contest includes a sweepstakes to win a trip to the race and a chance to win up to $80,000 in cash, depending on Mr. Benson's performance. Promotion Marketing Association designated September as the second annual National Coupon Month, calling on marketers and retailers to promote couponing.
