Publicis names global Renault chief

Publicis Group, Paris, named Thierry Lacaze, an executive with its Paris agency Publicis Conseil, to lead its global Renault business as worldwide account director. Renault is one of the Publicis network's largest clients, with annual global media spending estimated at $688 million. Mr. Lacaze, 49, succeeds Bertrand Siguier, recently named supervisor of worldwide account managers and a member of the Publicis board of directors. At Publicis Conseil, Mr. Lacaze managed the Renault account in France as well as a number of other key clients, including Perrier, Coca-Cola Co. and Dim. Named to succeed Mr. Lacaze as head of the Renault account in France was Christophe Fillatre.
