Publitalia still under scrutiny

Published on .

Publitalia, Milan-based advertising company controlled by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and his holding company Fininvest, will not be placed under court-appointed administration, judges ruled Monday. Earlier this month, investigating magistrates asked that Publitalia's former managing director, Marcello Dell'Utri, stand trial on charges of tax fraud and false invoicing to create political slush funds by inflating the value of sports sponsorship deals.
