Purina wins ARF Ogilvy prize

Purina Dog Chow's "Every Day"campaign, from Fallon McElligott, was the trophy winner of the 1997 ARF David Ogilvy Research Awards at the Advertising Research Foundation annual meeting in New York. The award recognizes the effective use of research in developing successful advertising. Gold Medallion award winners were the American Plastics Council's industry management campaign, handled by Wirthlin Worldwide, McLean, Va., and Campbell Soup Co.'s "condensed soup" campaign, handled by BBDO Worldwide, New York, and research firm, ASI, Stamford, Conn.
